Persona Dancing: Endless Night Collection (PS4) Review

Image
Persona Dancing: Endless Night Collection (PS4) 7.5/10 Hello everybody. I’m back with another game review. Today, I’ll be talking about the Persona Dancing: Endless Night Collection. This collection has 3 games inside of it: Persona 4: Dancing All Night, Persona 3: Dancing In Moonlight, and Persona 5: Dancing In Starlight. P3D and P5D were released on May 24, 2018 for the PS4 and PSVita. The games were developed by Atlus and published by Sega. For this review, I’ll be going over P3D and P5D strictly as I have already reviewed P4D. Let’s begin. P3D and P5D have a story that coincides with each other. One day while the members of SEES are asleep, they wake up in a very odd room. Everybody is questioning what’s going on, thinking it’s another Shadow attack, until Elizabeth pops up. Everybody has been transported to the Velvet Room because she needs their help. She explains that sometime ago, her sister Margaret says that her guest was able to solve a problem through dancing (referen...

Death Stranding (PS4) Review

Death Stranding (PS4) 7.5/10 Hello and welcome to another review. This’ll be a long one, so hang tight and enjoy. Death Stranding was released on November 8, 2019 for the PS4 and PC, with the head game director being none other than the legend himself Hideo Kojima, most famous for his work on creating the Metal Gear Solid games. This game is something special. It is not your typical video game by any means. What Kojima has created here is “a new genre of gaming: the Strand Genre.” What this means is that the whole point of the game is to make connections with everyone, both in-game characters and online people. I’ll go more in depth with this in a little bit. But first, let’s talk about the story. Before I begin, I am well aware of the Director’s Cut that came out, but for this review, I’ll be going over the original PS4 release. Let’s begin. Our story follows Sam Porter Bridges as he connects America back together in search of his sister Amelie in a world that has been completel...

Persona 4: Dancing All Night (PS4) Review

Persona 4: Dancing All Night (PS4) 8/10 Hello everyone and welcome back to Persona. Persona 4: Dancing All Night was originally released on June 25, 2015 for the Playstation Vita and then brought over to the PS4. The game was developed by Atlus and published by Sega and Bandai Namco. This is my very first rhythm game and I’m really glad this is my first exposure to the genre. When I first picked up the game, I wasn’t expecting anything special. Just some mindless fun. When I saw that there was a story mode for a rhythm game, I knew I found something great. Let’s jump into this. Our story follows the Investigation Team (Yu, Yosuke, Chie, Yukiko, Kanji, Teddie, Rise, and Naoto) one year after the events of Persona 4. Yu has returned to his hometown, Naoto has returned to her work as a detective, and Rise is trying to get back into the pop idol scene. Rise reaches out to the Investigation Team to help her with her comeback show, asking them to be back-up dancers for the Love Meets...

River City Girls (PS4) Review

River City Girls (PS4) 8/10 Hello everyone and welcome back to another game review. River City Girls was released on September 5, 2019 for the PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and PC. The game was developed by Wayforward Technologies and published by Wayforward and Arc System Works. Also fun fact, this game is tied to the old River City Ransom and Kunio-kun games, which I did not know about prior to playing this. The game was a massive success despite RCG flying under the radar, with a niche community forming around the game. I really love this game. This game has so much love and passion and care put into it. Made by the same team that did the Shantae series, RCG oozes with style and humor and I can’t get enough of it. When I very first played this, I HATED the ending and so did a lot of other people. Wayforward listened and tweaked the ending with an update so that it’s much more satisfactory. I love this company and I can’t wait to tell you guys about the game. Our story follows best ...

Fairly Odd Parents: Breakin' Da Rules (PS2) Review

The Fairly Oddparents: Breakin’ Da Rules (PS2) 4/10 Hello everyone and welcome to another game review. Today, let’s take a look at a licensed game from one of my favorite TV shows growing up. Fairly Oddparents: Breakin’ Da Rules was released on November 3, 2003 for the Gamecube, PS2, and Xbox. The game was developed by Blitz Games Studios and published by THQ. The game did alright in terms of sales, with a few people claiming this to be a hidden gem from the console generation. Personally, this has got to be one of the worst, most disappointing games I have played in recent years. Breaking Da Rules is a terrible platformer and Blitz Games should be ashamed of the product that they released to the world. I was expecting a similar experience to the far superior Shadow Showdown game that was released a year later and seeing the general consensus of the game, I was expecting something at least halfway decent, but nope. Strap yourselves in because I’m going to be ripping this apart....

Hush (2016) Review

Hush (2016) 3.5/10 Hello everyone and welcome back to another movie review. Today, let’s take a look at one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Hush was released on March 12, 2016 with the director being Mike Flanagan. Somehow the movie received critical acclaim, even from horror icons Stephen King and William Friedkin. Personally, I hate this movie for its shotty writing and its ability to make an interesting concept like this idiotic and frustrating to watch. Let’s begin. Our story follows deaf-mute protagonist Maddie who has retreated into the woods of a small town to live in solitude. She is a writer who has published one book and is stuck trying to finish her second, but can’t figure out the ending. As she’s writing, her neighbor comes running to Maddie’s house seeking help as a masked killer is chasing her. He murders her and notices that Maddie can’t hear. He then sets his sights on killing Maddie, but first he wants to play around with her with psychological warfare. ...
