Assassin's Creed II (PS4) Review

Image
Assassin’s Creed II (PS4) 7/10 “Nothing is True; Everything is Permitted” Hello fellow Assassins. Today, I’ll be reviewing the start of a trilogy: Assassin’s Creed II. This game was originally launched on November 17, 2009 for PS3 and Xbox 360. The game was then remastered for the Ezio Trilogy for PS4 and Xbox One on November 15, 2016, with the game being developed and published by Ubisoft. I played the Ezio Trilogy Remaster of the game, so I will be critiquing this version of the game. I played this game back when I was in middle school and have played it at least 2 more times since then. This is one of the games that slingshotted me into my love of games (with InFamous being the ice breaker). I love this game and I always will, but it does have some issues. Let’s jump into it. Our story continues off from the first game. Lucy breaks Desmond out of Abstergo and they retreat to a secret warehouse where we meet the rest of her team: Rebecca and Shaun. Rebecca runs IT support for t...

Demon Slayer Movie: Infinity Castle Part 1 - Akaza's Return [SUB] (2025) Review

Demon Slayer Movie: Infinity Castle Part 1 - Akaza Returns [SUB] (2025) 6.5/10 [THIS WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!] Hello everyone and welcome to another anime movie review. Today, I’m going to go over the first part of the trilogy finale of Demon Slayer. Infinity Castle Part 1 first aired in Japan on July 18, 2025, with the movie getting a US release on September 12. The movie is directed by Haruo Sotozaki, with Ufotable producing the film. I have been hyped for this movie since it was announced last year. However, when I heard that it was going to be a trilogy of movies, my worries started to set in. I was worried that the producers were going to try and shove in too much content and mess up the story’s pacing. And that is exactly what happened here. As a story continuation, Infinity Castle Part 1 is fine, but as an actual movie, this is bloated and drags when it shouldn’t. Ultimately, this movie (and the rest of the films in production) should have been another s...

Demon Slayer Season 4: Hashira Training Arc [SUB] (2024) Review

Demon Slayer Season 4: Hashira Training Arc [SUB] (2024) 8/10 [THIS WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!] Hello everyone and welcome to another anime review. Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc aired from May 12 - June 30, 2024, with the arc clocking in at only 12 episodes long. Just like the rest of the series, this arc was produced by Ufotable. Hashira Training has been getting a lot of flak for whatever reason from the community, with even IGN giving it a dirty 3/10. To that I say, did we watch the same thing? I feel like many people were expecting something on the same level as Entertainment District, which to this day is still the best arc of the series. I’m assuming people were expecting more insane fights, but that is not what this is. Because of this, I’m led to believe people don’t have proper critical thinking skills and just want their action spoon fed to them. I’m going to try and keep this short, so let’s begin. After the events at the Swordsmith Villag...

Demon Slayer Season 3: The Swordsmith Village Arc [SUB] (2023) Review

Demon Slayer Season 3: The Swordsmith Village Arc [SUB] (2023) 7/10 [THIS WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!] Hello and welcome to another anime review. Today, let’s continue with the critically acclaimed series Demon Slayer. Season 3 (dubbed The Swordsmith Village Arc) aired from April 9 - June 18, 2023, with the season clocking in at 11 episodes long. Just like the previous seasons, this season was animated by Ufotable. Swordsmith Village sits in a weird way within the anime community. Although it has generally favorable reviews, the season seems to have the most mixed reviews of the series so far. Season 3 is not a bad season by any means, but I do kinda agree with some of the criticisms. Let’s begin. After Tanjiro and company’s battle with Daki and Gyutaro, they regroup at the Butterfly Mansion to recover, with Tanjiro falling into a coma due to his injuries. Inosuke and Zenitsu wake up normally and go on their own missions. When Tanjiro wakes up 2 months later...

Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc [SUB] (2021-2022) Review

Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc [SUB] (2021-2022) 9/10 [THIS WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!] Alright Ufotable. You guys can talk all the shit you want now. This arc was something else. Talk shit cause this was on another level. Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc is part of season 2, taking place after Mugen Train Arc. The story arc ran from December 5, 2021 - February 13, 2022, with it clocking in at only 11 episodes long. Even after sitting on this for roughly a day now, I still can’t get over this. The arc started off on the same level as the rest of the series so far but then it just skyrocketed into Andromeda. I’m gonna try and keep this short, so let’s begin. After the events of Mugen Train, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke recover at Butterfly Mansion, training to become stronger. Tanjiro also meets with Rengoku’s family to learn about the Hinokami Kagura and to give his condolences to the family. Four months pass and another Hashira, named Te...

Demon Slayer - Mugen Train Arc [SUB] (2021) Review

Demon Slayer: Mugen Train Arc [SUB] (2021) 8.5/10 [THIS WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!] Hello everyone and welcome back to another anime review. I just got done rewatching Demon Slayer season 1, so here we are with the start of season 2. Season 2 is split up into 2 arcs: Mugen Train (a retelling of the movie) and Entertainment District Arc. For this review, I’ll be going over Mugen Train exclusively. Mugen Train arc aired from October 10 - November 28, 2021 with the story arc clocking in at 7 episodes long. I’m gonna try and keep this short, so let’s begin. The story here is exactly like the movie. However, in this version, they added scenes and more information to pad out the story. This is not a bad thing at all. Although the pacing for the movie was good, I felt that Rengoku didn’t get enough development. This version remedies that. Immediately after the events of season 1, Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke board the Mugen Train to accompany the Flame Ha...
