The Road to El Dorado (2000) Review

The Road to El Dorado (2000) 8/10 Hello and welcome to another movie review. Today, I’ll be going over The Road to El Dorado. El Dorado was released on March 31, 2000 with the directors being Bibo Bergeron, Jeffrey Katzenberg, and Don Paul. The movie was produced by Dreamworks Animation and is one of their few 2D animated features. I loved this movie and rewatching it was a blast from the past. Watching now from the eyes of a reviewer, it still holds up and I just can’t fathom why this movie was a “failure”. It’s a genuinely great movie and I love how it has a small cult following all these years later. Let’s begin. This movie is set in 1519, during the Age of Discovery. In Spain, duo Tulio and Miguel are con men who “win” a treasure map to El Dorado. They sneak aboard Cortes’ ship and eventually make it to the New World. Tulio and Miguel eventually find the City of Gold, El Dorado, and the natives deem them as gods. Tulio and Miguel hatch a plan to steal all of their gold, and w...

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (PS4) Review

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (PS4) 8/10 "We work in the darkness to serve the light. We are Assassins." Hello everybody. To continue with the Assassin's Creed series, I went on to Brotherhood. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood was originally released on November 16, 2010 for PS3 and Xbox 360 and then it was remastered for modern consoles in the Ezio Collection, which was released on November 15, 2016. I played the Ezio Collection version of the game, so I'll be judging this version of it. This is the third game in the Assassin's Creed series and the second game to star Ezio Auditore. This game is a weird cross breed of the first two games and it turned out wonderfully. Let's get into it. Back in modern day, Desmond and crew have escaped the Templars and have retreated to Monteriggionni, their supposed last safe spot in Italy. After setting up camp in the old Assassin safe room, Desmond goes back into the Animus to continue where he left off. He's doi...

DuckTales Remastered (PS3) Review

DuckTales Remastered (PS3) 8.5/10 “C’mon lads. We’re going on an adventure!” What’s up everybody? Today's review will be on DuckTales Remastered for the PS3. This game was originally made for the NES back in 1989 and then remastered by WayForward on August 13, 2013 for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and mobile. This was one of the hardest games I’ve ever played. Not as bad as [PROTOTYPE] on hard mode, but this was still very fucking difficult. No, it’s not Dark Souls' level of difficulty. You can fuck off with that bullshit. Let’s jump right into this. Our story follows Scrooge McDuck as he embarks on a world wide treasure hunt for 5 valuable treasures. He first discovers these treasures when the Beagle Boys break into his Money Bin to steal a painting that he recently procured. Each treasure hunt is a level for Scrooge to play through. After he gets all 5 treasures, Magica De Spell pops in and steals them so that she can resurrect the vampire lord Vlad von Dracula Duck. After you defea...
